    Aras Ozgun

    Profile

    Aras Ozgun is a media studies scholar, digital media artist and experimental filmmaker. He studied Political Science (BS, Middle East Technical University, Ankara), Sociology (MS, Middle East Technical University, Ankara), Media Studies (MA, The New School, New York), and earned his PhD degree in Sociology at the New School for Social Research. He has been teaching media theory and digital media related courses at the School of Media Studies since 2002, chairing the Cinema and Digital Media Department and teaching creative filmmaking and digital media arts related courses and at Izmir University of Economics in Turkey since 2013.
