    The Advanced Certificate in Documentary Media Studies program will not be accepting applications for fall 2024.

    To be most competitive for admission and merit scholarship consideration, please apply before the priority deadline. We will continue to review applications submitted after the deadline pending space availability in the program. The Admission Committee will make a decision on your application only after all the required materials have been received. Please email us at [email protected] to ask if we are still reviewing applications.

    Prior Degree Completion

    Graduate degree applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited American college or university or the equivalent degree from a university outside the United States. Applicants who will have completed their bachelor’s degree by the time of enrollment may be considered for admission.

    Applicant Profiles

    MA in Media Studies
    The Master of Arts in Media Studies program welcomes applications from individuals whose education and experience demonstrates motivation and creativity. Recent college graduates, people working in related fields, and career changers are all welcome. GRE or GMAT test scores are not required.

    MS in Media Management or Advanced Certificate in Media Management
    The Master of Science in Media Management or Advanced Certificate in Media Management programs combines media-oriented business education with research and critical analysis of media practices. We welcome applications from motivated individuals whose previous education and other accomplishments show potential for leadership and creative problem solving. Applicants with business or production experience in a related field are preferred, but all applicants with strong academic records will be considered.  GRE or GMAT test scores are not required.

    Advanced Certificate in Documentary Media Studies
    The Advanced Certificate Program in Documentary Media Studies welcomes applicants whose education and experience demonstrates motivation and creativity, including recent college graduates, people working in related fields, and career changers.  GRE or GMAT test scores are not required.
