Vladan Nikolic is an award-winning director, producer, editor, and writer of feature films, documentaries, shorts, commercials, and music videos. He was formerly the director of NTV Studio B, the first independent television network in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. Mr. Nikolic won the Best Director Award and critical acclaim for his feature film Love, which premiered at the 2005 Tribeca, Venice, and other film festivals. His film Here and There won the 2009 Best New York Narrative Award at the Tribeca Film Festival. Mr. Nikolic’s most recent feature film is Zenith (2010), which he wrote, directed, and produced. The film attracted attention for its novel distribution strategy and transmedia campaign, with millions of downloads worldwide. He is currently writing the book Transmedia and Beyond: Independent Filmmaking and Digital Convergence, which will be released in 2016 by Focal Press.
