Profile:Ricardo Montez has served as a faculty fellow in Latino studies at New York University and was a Costen postdoctoral fellow in race and ethnicity studies at Princeton University. His forthcoming book, Riding/Writing the Line: Keith Haring, Race, and the Performance of Desire, explores the construction of race within American popular culture through an examination of the 1980s pop artist Keith Haring.
