Eugene Lang College has one of the best social sciences faculties of any liberal arts college in the country, thanks to our collaboration with The New School for Social Research (NSSR). The psychology program emphasizes an applied approach to studying how culture and context influence individual development. NSSR psychology faculty members teach in our undergraduate psychology program. As a result, it offers something very few other psychology programs have: small classes. In addition to a broad array of courses in cognition and developmental, abnormal, and social psychology, a variety of NSSR graduate courses are open to advanced students in psychology. The program also provides research opportunities in faculty labs, mentorships with advanced graduate students, and internships in New York City.
