Congratulations on having reached this milestone in your education! The senior year is a culmination of your undergraduate education, though also the transition into a professional career, a graduate education, or a volunteer program. It represents a time to use prior knowledge to investigate academic and/or career fields in more depth. We encourage you to reflect on your learning experiences at Lang and the interests suggested by these experiences for life after graduation.
As most of you already know, we have an academic advisor designated for each undergraduate class; and I am the designated advisor for seniors. I invite you to schedule an appointment with me sometime to review your academic progress, discuss options for the senior experience requirement, or explore opportunities after graduation. I can provide you with assistance and/or referrals to ensure your senior year is both productive and memorable.
We welcome any suggestions about resources and services that would be most helpful for you, which could range from practical advice on apartment searching and student loan repayments, to graduate school programs and employment searches, to more reflective conversations about your education. We have compiled some information for you on this homepage, which should be useful during your senior year. If I can answer any questions or resolve any problems, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
