Dr. Colds Fechter is a psychologist with a background in social cognition. Much of her work has focused on implicit or unconscious associations and subtle forms of biased behavior. Her current research interests include implicit gender and race associations among human resources professionals and self-identification hierarchies among African-American, West African, and Afro-Caribbean women.
