The Yorks have taken over the throne of England and Edward IV is king, but his ambitious younger brother Richard, the Duke of Gloucester, is dissatisfied. Deformed and with a cruel nature, he sets his brothers against each other in order to clear his own way to the crown – by whatever means possible.

THE CAUCASIAN CHALK CIRCLE

directed by Johanna McKeon

In Brecht’s parable advocating the idea that resources should go to those best able to make use of them, two women claim the same child – but thanks to a rascally judge, true justice is rendered.
