Robert Hoyt has degrees in Theatre Performance and Design from Viterbo University, a Masters in Education-Professional Development from University of Wisconsin, and an MFA in Dramaturgy from Columbia University, New York City.

He is also a free-lance theatre consultant whose past clients include Columbia University, New York Theatre Workshop, Liz Woodman Casting and New Stages Musical Theatre.

Prior to The New School for Drama, Bob was the Associate Producing Director of The Acting Company, founded by John Houseman and Margot Harley, as well as assistant to the late director Joe Chaikin.
