Robert Walden attended Stuyvesant High School and CCNY, managing to study with Lee Strasberg (and his wife, Paula), Frank Corsaro, attend the H-B Studios, appear on Broadway, all while still an undergrad. Upon graduation, he became the youngest member of The Actors Studio. He has been nominated for three Emmys for Lou Grant, and two ACE awards for Brothers. Both TV series ran five years apiece. He's guest-starred in scores of TV shows, including Law & Order and West Wing, and some thirty movies for television. He's appeared in over forty films, including Oscar winners: All the President's Men and Hospital. He's performed Off Broadway, and at major regional theaters, including: Mark Taper (LA), ACT (San Francisco), Old Globe (San Diego), Cincinnati Playhouse, Arena Stage (D.C.) Dylan, the first of six plays he directed in LA, won or was nominated for every major award, including three from LA Critic's Circle, seven Dramalogues, three from LA Weekly, winning Best Actor, Actress, Production and Director.
