Two Hearts, One Story

Jennie Santos, Parsons School of Design '99

Two Hearts, One Story is a compilation of interviews with Latin American writers by the poet and reporter Glenda Galgn, published by the online magazine Dominicana en Miami.

Originally self-published, the book can now be found on the shelves of libraries all over the United States. Galgn created 36 portrait illustrations in oil on canvas, one of each author interviewed. Among the subjects is the Pulitzer Prize–winning Junot Diaz, a Dominican New Yorker living in Japan and an MIT professor. His writing inspired illustrations Galgn is working on for a collaboration born from the book.
