    University Message on Ebola Virus

With New York City's first case of Ebola virus disease having been confirmed on October 23, The New School is monitoring the spread of the virus very closely. We have no reason to believe that any of our students, faculty or staff have been or are at risk of contracting the disease.

The New School follows the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) travel and health advisories regarding the Ebola outbreak. The CDC now recommends that colleges and universities identify students, faculty, and staff who have traveled to Guinea, Liberia, or Sierra Leone in the last 21 days to discuss their possible risk for becoming sick and provide instructions for health monitoring. Please visit Student Health Services for more information.
