Minors at The New School offer you major opportunities to immerse yourself in new disciplines. For some minors, eligibility may be restricted on the basis of area of study, because of constraints on facilities, or by the need for a specific level of skill in a particular field; in such cases, an application is required (as indicated in "Available Minors" listing above). For these minors, complete the application form at my.newschool.edu.
To start a minor in the fall: Submit an application by March 1. Notification of decision on minor application by April 1.
To start a minor in the spring: Submit an application by October 1. Notification of decision on minor application by November 1 (December 15 for Post-Genre Music).
