Eugene Lang College, recently included on The Princeton Review’s annual “Best Colleges” list, invites high school juniors and seniors to take part in four-credit college-level liberal arts writing courses at The New School. The pre-college intensive courses, offered through Open Campus at Lang, help you develop your own voice in a supportive atmosphere. The courses include peer-to-peer collaboration, immersive study, and networking with professionals, artists, and activists.

International students: Please note that a visa cannot be sponsored by The New School for the sole purpose of allowing enrollment in a summer course; international students must already have visa sponsorship from a U.S. institution valid through summer 2017.
Housing is available
New School housing is available to registered students over the age of 16. The move-in date is Sunday, July 9; the move-out date is Saturday, August 5. Lang Summer Intensive classes begin Monday, July 10. Housing fees are separate from course tuition. Visit the

Students should register online with payment by credit card.
Enrolled students must fill out the LSI Student Information Form before June 22 in order to participate in classes. This form asks for health and contact information and provides guidelines for course participation.
