Several short-term programs, scheduled during the summer and winter break, allow students to immerse themselves abroad while taking Lang courses with Lang faculty members. Students may also opt to study for a semester or academic year through specific partner schools, paying Lang tuition as usual and keeping institutional financial aid from The New School.
The universities and organizations listed in this section offer programs that are pre-approved for credit transfer, based on the academic structure and/or previous experiences of Lang students. Through your own research, you might locate another program in which you have interest. Websites like IIEPassport, StudyAbroadDirectory.com, or StudyAbroad.com are good places to start.
Each outside program differs in cost, educational mission, and acceptance criteria, so make sure to investigate all of the relevant information before applying. The Study Abroad advisor is available to answer any questions during this process.
Domestic Exchange Programs
These programs allow Lang students to study at designated partner schools in the United States for a semester or an academic year, paying Lang tuition as usual and keeping institutional financial aid from The New School.
