Domestic Exchange Programs

Special exchange agreements allow Lang students to study at the following schools. (Students from these schools can also take classes at Lang.) Lang students pay Lang tuition as usual and keep institutional financial aid from The New School. Financial aid scholarships and loans are applicable toward educational expenses.

Credits earned during the exchange apply toward the Lang degree (a minimum grade of C in each course is required). These are counted as transfer credits, so your New School transcript reflects only the credits and not the grades.

To qualify for a domestic exchange, students must have a strong academic record (minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA) and must have earned at least 60 credits before departure. Consult with your class advisor and concentration chair to determine how courses completed through the exchange can be applied toward your academic requirements at Lang. Students who have 50 or more transfer credits should speak with the study abroad advisor.
