Lang alumni are everywhere, achieving remarkable things in the arts, education, politics, human rights, and beyond. Time and again, they have taken their education, rooted in creative citizenship and social awareness, and translated it into meaningful action. Recent graduates include a journalist reporting from Iraq, a professor of intellectual heritage at Temple University in Philadelphia, a documentary filmmaker, a program director at a leading political action group, a scholar and practitioner of mural painting, a Hasidic rapper, a sociologist at the University of California at Berkeley, and a youth literacy advocate.
