Office of Career Development

The Office of Career Development has a holistic approach to career planning. Our mission is to help New School students make sound career decisions that will maximize their opportunities for personal and professional growth. Our services are designed to empower students with confidence and competence. Services include individual counseling, special programs and workshops, information about internships and full- and part-time employment opportunities, directions to career development resources, advice about job search strategies, résumé reviews, and help with cover letters and interview preparation.

To facilitate online searches for jobs and internships, Career Development maintains a table of career information arranged by field.

The online database of job opportunities for New School students is hosted through College Central. Upon entering College Central, select "Students/Alumni." Students who have not already registered an account must do so before using the database. The registration process allows you to upload your résumé and search for positions. Contact the Career Services office for more information.
