The three finalists for the Story Prize, awarded annually for outstanding collections of short fiction, will be honored at an event at The New School. The finalists are Sunstroke and Other Stories by Tessa Hadley, Bloodletting & Miraculous Cures by Vincent Lam, and Like You’d Understand by Jim Shepard. The writers will read from and discuss their work with Larry Dark, director of the Story Prize. The evening culminates in the announcement of the $20,000 prize winner for 2008.
