Recent Updates: Campus is open. Spring semester begins January 24 with remote instruction. In-person instruction will resume on February 7. Visit our COVID-19 Community Guide for more information.

  • Admission Events

  • Our undergraduategraduate, and student teams host a wide range of admission events throughout the year. You can learn all about our programs, the process of applying or transferring, how to prepare an application, and life in our classrooms and on our New York City campus.

Throughout the spring semester, our in-person offerings will be limited to pre-scheduled admission counseling appointments and campus tours accommodating up to three families. Only those with appointments will be able to tour campus or meet with Admission staff. Visitors without appointments will be allowed to interact with Welcome Center staff briefly (up to ten minutes) in the Welcome Center lobby.

    All visitors must:

    • Present proof of vaccination (e.g., CDC card—hard copy or picture, Excelsior Pass) to Welcome Center staff at the front desk
    • Attest that they are currently experiencing no symptoms and are not actively in quarantine or isolation due to a positive test result, exposure, or recent travel
    • Wear a mask in all university buildings and indoor spaces for the duration of their visit

Visitors with appointments to meet with Admission or participate in a campus tour must also present proof of a negative PCR test result no older than seven days before the visit date.

Visitors who do not meet these requirements will not be allowed to stay in the building.

UPDATE, January 3, 2022—Due to recent increases in COVID-19 cases in New York City and among our community, all non-essential and non-academic in-person activities on campus are suspended through Sunday, January 23, 2022. The University Welcome Center will reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, January 24. Anyone interested in learning more about our academic programs, admission requirements, or campus life can connect online with a Welcome Center student assistant through our Welcome Center Virtual Desk. Virtual desk hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. No appointment is necessary.
