Professor Massé has been teaching courses in French at The New School for Public Engagement since Fall 2010. Before instructing at The New School, she taught at Carleton College (MN) and Drew University (NJ). Professor Masse teaches all levels of French, including advanced courses in French-speaking Cinema, Popular Culture or French Literature. She is currently serving as Chair of the Foreign Language Department and coordinates the French program. She is also the Regional Representative for the American association of French Teachers for the states of New York and New Jersey.
Research Interests
Foreign Language instruction, French and Francophone Cinema, Popular Culture, Cultural Studies, and 19th century literature.
