Composer and Music Supervisor, Jonathan Zalben runs First Frame Music a company for music supervision, licensing, and score. Selected credits include: Oscar-nominated film "Redemption" (HBO), There's Something Wrong With Aunt Diane (HBO), "Hotel 22" (New York Times Op-Docs), The Greatest Movie Ever Sold (Sony Pictures Classics), Flock of Dudes (Chris D'Elia, Hannah Simone, Ray Liotta), Beyond the Trophy (Eric Roberts, Michael Madsen), Son of Morning (Danny Glover, Heather Graham), Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror (Jason Alexander, Method Man).
Zalben's film music has also been heard at Sundance, Berlin, SXSW, and Tribeca, and he has received awards for his multimedia work from the National Academy of Sciences, NYSCA, and ASCAP, as well as grants from Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and the US Navy. He was a research fellow at the US Department of Energy, Argonne National Laboratory and has also been in residence at the Studio for Electro-Instrumental Music (STEIM) in Amsterdam. Compound Pilot, a net art collaboration, won the "Classic" Award at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive Festival.
