    Jane Rigler

    Profile

    Jane Rigler, Ph.D., (flutist/composer) creates interdisciplinary music that is influenced by nature, movement, languages, and dreaming. She has received numerous awards and recognitions for her innovative performance practice that have taken her around the world. She is a certified Deep Listening® facilitator (Center for Deep Listening at RPI, Troy, NY), offering inclusive and engaging multi-sensorial listening experiences. A former Associate Professor of interdisciplinary music at the University of Colorado where she taught Sound Art, Computer Music, Creative Music Ensemble, Improvisation, Humanity courses, various interdisciplinary classes, as well as flute and composition, she now produces her own music events and teaches and facilitates restorative arts events in which she collaborates with other artists, therapists, and healthcare practitioners.
