    Pooya Ghorbani

    Profile

    Pooya Ghorbani is Principal Economist at the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal, and part-time faculty at the Milano School of Policy, Management, and Environment. He holds a Ph.D. and master’s in public and urban policy, both from The New School.

    Pooya’s research covers topics related to housing and fiscal policy, urban economics, and inequality. He has been working for the New York State and New York City governments for several years. His research on housing issues, urban economics, and fiscal policy has been published in Journal of Reginal Science and Urban Economics, Housing Policy Debate, and the American Review of Public Administration. Pooya teaches Public Finance and Fiscal Management at the Milano School.
