Nausea Studios is a digital ecosystem that offers emerging artists a sense of belonging in the art world. It is designed to shock the system by providing an alternative to the art-industrial complex, which perpetuates exclusion and exploitation of artists. Nausea Studios draws inspiration from speculative design, radical imagination, and the ethos of rave culture as a tool for subversion and disruption. We are NAUSEATED by the art world and are looking for an escape through a re-imagined virtual space. Michelle Rios I am a strategic designer with an interest in the way design can serve as a means of reconstructing broken systems by centering people through creative problem solving. I am passionate about social change and helping cultural institutions offer people new ways of interacting with art, music, and one another. Having lived in South Africa, Mexico, France, and the United States, I have a strong cultural sensibility that allows me to connect with people from all backgrounds. Albert Shyong I enjoy exploring the arts and fashion through curation and editorial practices influenced by my multicultural background. My work is shaped by my knowledge of strategic design and management, my aesthetic sensibility, and my work experience.
