The skincare industry faces a number of challenges, including inefficiency, waste, and an oversaturated market. The oxidation of active ingredients in skincare products reduces their effectiveness, resulting in increased waste as users often discard partially used products. The abundance of options in the market can cause customers to feel overwhelmed and indecisive when selecting skincare products, making the process difficult and time-consuming. These challenges indicate a need for innovative solutions that prioritize sustainability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
La Biométrie is a skincare product that supports a comprehensive customized skincare routine through its capsule system, which operates on a subscription-based model. The product's packaging is made of the biomaterial AirCarbon, and the applicators are designed to prevent air from entering the bottle, keeping products fresh. The product minimizes waste through a circular life cycle that allows customers to swap out empty bottles for new ones. This model addresses the problems of waste and inefficiency on both the individual and the environmental levels.
