Originally from China, Yuxuan has always had a passion for fashion design since she was a child, and has pursued this dream throughout her life. After completing her four years of undergraduate studies in China, she continued to pursue her postgraduate studies in Parsons Paris. She has a great passion and interest in art, design, culture, literature and music, and enjoys exploring and learning about different knowledge, which has also inspire her design projects. In her professional work, she is passionate, responsible, efficient and strives to do her best in every project. In her future career development, she would love to develop her career in fashion and arts.

My project is inspired by Courtney Love and her band “HOLE”. Combining her style with the elements from historical couture and the idea of transformative garments. The project contains a lot of maximalist dresses, ruffles, slip dresses, lingerie, screen prints, digital prints, etc. Each of the big dresses has a different way of wearing it.
