Milagros Pereda

Milagros is an Argentinean designer, with a strong approach to textiles. Although she was born in Buenos Aires, a big city, she spent most of her childhood in her family’s farm, a natural reserve, surrounded by nature and animals. Growing up so close to nature really nurtured her connection with fibers and developed her profound awareness of the importance for care and conservation. Her strong sensibility to textiles helped her work in a very artisanal way, many times building her own materials, and focuses a lot in handknitted pieces. She stands out for her commitment to sustainability, and craftsmanship, placing value in handmade unique pieces, and has been transmiting her values through her namesake brand, which she plans on keep on growing
