Born in the U.S., Merrill Hewitt is a mixed-media artist celebrated for her adaptability and inventive thinking. Her art probes the boundaries of taboo and the uncomfortable, balancing these themes with a distinct sense of beauty. She blends surrealist elements into her work, often intertwining fashion, embracing her unique perspective that, despite a lack of formal fashion training, she sees fashion as art and vice versa. Merrill’s passions include working with animals, experimenting with recycled materials, and mastering new art techniques. Known as a fast, dedicated worker, she seeks a challenging career that demands creative problem-solving and innovation.
