Born and raised in China, kexin speaks English and Mandarin. She is a composite talent in the fashion industry. She is a composite talent in the fashion industry. Kexin obtained a double degree in Fashion Design and Engineering and Financial Management in China and is pursuing a Master's in Fashion Studies at Parsons Paris. Having interned at fashion brands and museums, she is proactive and curious. She is highly adaptable and can easily step out of her comfort zone to encourage herself to learn and experience new perspectives. At Parsons Paris, worked with fashion brands and museums, visiting the archives and museums of many luxury brands, and collaborating with the brand on many practical projects where her creativity, analysis, professional skills and collaboration progressed.

Uncovering Chinese Women in Turbulent Times: Exploring Late Qing Chinese Women in Western Museums

In her thesis, Kexin focuses on Late Qing Chinese fashion in Western museums. She selected two temporary exhibitions of Late Qing fashions in Western museums as case studies, and examined the diversity of curatorial approaches to the representation of Late Qing Chinese culture in Western museums. Using different perspectives analyzes how these two exhibitions recreated the diversity of Chinese women's images in the late Qing period, from curatorial methods, exhibition spaces, the selection and installation of objects, the way in which the garments were displayed, and their impact on the body.
