Isabella, a passionate MA Fashion Studies student at Parsons Paris, is currently delving into her final thesis, exploring the role of fashion prototypes, through the lens of Massimo Osti's legacy. After completing her Fashion Design studies at IUAV University of Venice, she gained industry insights at Gucci, working in the Made to Measure team. Transitioning to ACK, an independent beachwear brand, Isabella showcased her creativity in design and product development. Passionate about heritage and printed matter, she contributed to Rare Books Paris, dealing with precious fashion publications. As a teaching assistant at Parsons, Isabella shared her diverse expertise in design, merchandising, and archival work.

In Fashion, the prototype is often an underestimated object, both as part of the design and production processes, and in the archiving policies of museums. This thesis aims to propose a definition of the fashion prototype, conceived as a tangible manifestation of the trajectory of the garment’s creation using Massimo Osti’s CP Company as a case study.
