Unveiling perspectives tells a tale and brings a fresh lens insight on the disparities African-Americans face in the USA. As a young African-American man from an African-American community, Dekwan is confident that he can offer a fresh approach to understanding these issues through the mediums of storytelling and Art Toys. Born in New York, his upbringing spans both the north and south of the USA. Dekwan is convinced that by seeing both ways of life, he can effectively illustrate the disparities experienced in the lives of many African - Americans.
