    Chaelon Costello is an actor and teaching artist based in Brooklyn. As an Assistant Professor at The New School COPA, Drama, she has taught Foundations in Acting, Classical Acting Technique: Monologues, Performance Preparation, and as a collaborator with Rebecca Tuffey in Alexander Technique for Classical Performance. For COPA’s Summer Program, Chaelon has taught Classical Scene Study. She has served as a faculty audition adjudicator for the BFA program in Dramatic Arts since 2015. Chaelon was a guest artist at Fordham University during the 2014 academic year, working with the MFA playwrights in Devised Theatre and Collaboration. Most recently, Chaelon spent August of 2017 in residency with fellow COPA Drama colleague, Toni Sideco, at P.L.A.Y. Theatre- a Bethel Woods Center for the Performing Arts 3-week educational theatre program for youth between the ages of 8-18. Chaelon and fellow colleagues wrote an entirely new curriculum for the P.L.A.Y. Theatre program and introduced new skill sets and techniques not seen or used by the youth before, from mask to digital media. As as actor, Chaelon has worked at many theatres including The Old Vic, a specialized workshop with Kevin Spacey at BAM (Richard’s Rampage), for Ready Set Go (RSG) Theatre- "R&J the Webseries" (Tybalt) and RSG’s upcoming: "Hamlet" (Hamlet).
