Profile

Ka-Ling is an actor, teacher and private acting coach. Aside from The New School, Ka-Ling also teaches at NYU, Columbia, Marymount Manhattan College and Syracuse University's Tepper Semester. Acting credits - Broadway tour of "War Horse". National Tour: "The King and I”. London: “Wild Swans” at the Young Vic. NY: "Golden Shield" at MTC. Regional: ACT, ART, The Rep at St. Louis, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Long Wharf Theatre, Portland Center Stage, Pittsburgh Public, TheatreSquared, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Weston Playhouse, and others. TV: The Other Two, Harlen Coben's Shelter, Evil, East New York, Uncoupled, Broad City, Bull, L&O: SVU, Blue Bloods, Limitless, Elementary, etc. Voice/Dialect work: Showtime's "Three Women" and MTC's "Golden Shield". MFA/American Conservatory Theater. Ka-Ling was the recipient of the Lloyd Richards Fellowship through the National Alliance of Acting Teachers. She was a Juilliard Drama Division Teaching Fellow. She is a proud member of the Actors Center.
