  • Designers must be skilled, versatile, collaborative problem solvers in our rapidly evolving world. The BFA Integrated Design program allows you to engage in research-based studios while exploring a range of making techniques that can be applied to systems, services, and societies. This self-directed design program enables you to actively shape your creative practice. Many graduates combine design and entrepreneurship to become design leaders and intrepid visual artists.

  • Curriculum

    Your BFA begins with Parsons’ first-year curriculum, which serves as the academic foundation for all undergraduate programs at Parsons. From your second year on, you dive into courses in your major field of study. Art and design history and theory courses develop your research, writing, and critical reasoning skills, and university electives broaden your perspectives.
