Each semester, Parsons Paris admits a small number of visiting students from American and international colleges and universities to our study abroad programs. These programs, which offer an opportunity to spend a semester or year exploring art, design, and fashion in Paris,
are designed for undergraduate students who have completed at least one year of college and recent bachelor’s graduates.
Visiting students can take selected courses from our bachelor’s and master's degree programs or join our Fashion Cultures and Design Cultures study abroad programs. Students should check with their home institutions regarding eligibility to transfer
Parsons Paris credits.

Visiting students can spend a semester or year integrated into courses alongside Parsons Paris BFA and BBA degree students. Students enroll in a customized set of classes to develop specialized skills within their chosen field. Visiting students come
from a range of academic backgrounds and have varying interests in design, art, business, and entrepreneurship. Students must either meet the prerequisites for each course or select courses that do not have any prerequisites.

Tuition for one semester of integrated study abroad at Parsons Paris is $17,245 USD for up to 19 credits at the bachelor's level. Contact us for information about graduate opportunities.

The Cultures of Design and Art study abroad program at Parsons Paris consists of five courses (15 credits). This program is designed for students who have a strong interest in fashion, design, and art but are not necessarily art majors. Students take
four courses in the spring semester plus one in June. We offer two tracks: Fashion Cultures and Design Cultures.
The tuition fee for the five courses (four in the spring and one in June) in the Cultures of Design and Art program is $13,255 USD plus fees. Students in this program can supplement their studies by taking additional courses at Parsons Paris for an additional
Learn about the history, theory, and practice of art and design culture in an exchange with designers and historians at Parsons Paris. Take a series of courses on fashion culture and design in Paris, the fashion capital of the world. You visit fashion
companies and ateliers while taking four liberal arts classes in the spring before engaging in a hands-on experience with fashion design in June.
Fashion Cultures courses:
What is a designer? How has design evolved from what it was in the late 19th century to its current status as a discipline encompassing social science, technological innovation, new economies, sustainability, production, and consumption systems? Learn
what it means to think and act as a designer in Paris, where past and future are in constant dialogue. Take courses on design cultures, focusing on forward-looking ideas, trends, and projects. Engage with the city and its creative culture while learning
about design studies, collaboration, and problem-solving approaches to business, creativity, and human services.

Parsons Paris offers three levels of intensive French language instruction. All visiting students have the option to enroll in one of these 3-credit French courses each semester.
