I am a Pakistani interdisciplinary artist engaged in feminist and identity politics. My installation, Yours Now and Forever, is an archive that captures my South Asian diaspora experience, examining human connection against a backdrop of otherness and conflicting worlds. The installation consists of paintings and audio that explore nostalgia as a utopian version of the past. The title is derived from the closing of a love letter written by a Pakistani friend in New York to an ex-girlfriend in Lahore whose name is the same as mine.
