I was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia.

What languages do you speak?
English and Indonesian.

Do you feel at home here in Paris?
Most of the time I do. The city has made me more comfortable with myself.

Does Paris inspire you?
It really does. For me, the Parisian culture influenced my way of thinking to a philosophical extent, which influenced my creative process in all of my art making.

What does your typical weekend look like?
Sometimes I go out with my friends to jazz clubs, galleries, and museums that are scattered throughout the city.

What are your hobbies?
Photography, playing and listening to music, and reading books.

What do you think about Parsons Paris so far?
The school encourages me to push myself to the limit where I would find my authenticity and voice.

Did you do an internship?
Yes; during the course of my freshman year I got the chance to work for Malone Souliers as a showroom assistant and for Dala Eido as a photoshoot assistant and dresser.

What advice would you give incoming students?
Experiment more! Don’t stick with your old routine of art making; try to explore different ideas.
