Art, Media, and Technology (BFA)
I am an artist from Bikfaya, Lebanon. My creative process always begins with storytelling. I work across media—often using watercolor for illustrations and animations—to explore the way memories, both personal and shared, shape who we are.
My thesis project, You Are What You Smell, turns memories into scent. I created a series of scented boxes, each one tied to a core memory. Together these scents tell a story and ultimately evolve into a perfume, the last in the series, that captures identity in a sensory, tangible way.
This work is about the way memory lives beyond words or images and how it can be felt, recalled, and even transformed through smell. By inviting others to experience these scents, I hope to spark their own memories and reflections, creating a shared connection through one of our most intimate senses.
