Vibrant painting of people gathered around red tables in social scene
I am a visual artist from Tbilisi, Georgia. In my work, I use observational painting and drawing to document the world around me, capturing passing moments that often go unnoticed. My paintings are like a visual diary, helping me remember the people, places, and feelings that shape my everyday life. My thesis project, Looking for Fun, is a large-scale oil painting (210 × 140 cm) showing a group of people each of whom is engaged in their own version of fun. Every figure in the painting was modeled live in my studio. Those represented include friends, acquaintances, and other people whose presence and energy I wanted to preserve.
