  • Theatre Makeup

This collection is inspired by theater arts from four countries: China, Korea, Japan and Indonesia. The reason I chose to do this collection is that I love theater a lot. I was the leader of the drama club in high school, and I’ve been to many theater performances, because I really enjoy this kind of art.

    Advising

Acting is fun because as an actor/actress, you can live all types of lives and it is great fun to play different characters. I decided to do this piece because I want to learn more about theater art. In this collection, I designed four kinds of makeup based on four types of theater arts. Before I took photos for each kind of makeup, I would watch some videos of that specific type of art in order to find some signature gestures or characteristics that could best represent that kind of art, so that when I was doing the photo shoot I could represent different characters.
