Silent Dialogue

Art, Media, and Technology (BFA)

Michele Saad
I am a Lebanese visual artist who creates sculptures from leftover wood. I explore the relationship between the dead piece of wood and the lost soul of the tree to address deforestation and climate change. My thesis project, Silent Dialogue, depicts a vivid dream in which the dreamer encounters the sculptures. The series invites us to walk around, feel, and silently dialogue with the soul of the forest.
