Where were you born and raised?
Born in Mexico, lived there until I was 10 years old then moved to the U.S. where I lived in Texas and Michigan.

What languages do you speak?
Spanish and English.

Do you feel at home here in Paris?
Surprisingly yes. The only difficulty has been the language burier, although I don’t need French at school, it is important that I study it if I plan on staying here.

Does Paris inspire you?
Yes, after living in some places in the U.S. where art and design are pretty minimal, now living here culture is everywhere, it’s a massive change.

What does your typical weekend look like?
I go to museums, explore the city, relax at home, do my homework and hang out with friends.

What are your hobbies?
Ice skating.

What do you think about Parsons Paris so far?
I would describe school as diverse and exciting, every class taught me something different and I learned how to work in teams.

Did you do an internship?
Yes, during Paris Fashion Week I've interned in ATP’s showroom, and I worked as a dresser for Atlein.

What advice would you give incoming students?
It’s very different from high school and from a typical American college, be prepared to work hard and find things you like to do outside of school.
