My thesis documents the journey of a girl confined to her home for a long time. The thesis takes the form of a travel diary containing the girl's photographs of a fabric she has encountered in several places. The thesis documents the girl’s personal growth as she explores different cultures and landscapes and examines the cultural significance of the fabric and its connection to identity and place. The thesis is designed to capture the essence of the girl’s journey and the meaning of the fabric in different contexts through photography and storytelling.
