    Raised in Hong Kong and Singapore, originally from India, Dhir Baxi hopes to develop her career in fashion design. While studying fashion design, she has developed a wide range of creative and technical skills as well as gained a diverse range of experiences within the fashion industries in Paris, London and India. She is highly motivated and willing to take on challenging roles in the industry in order to learn and continue to grow as a designer. Dhir is a hard working individual who is passionate about design and takes interest in learning about global cultural history and sustainability.

    Thesis Title: Mafia Queens of Mumbai

    Dhir Baxi's thesis collection is based on the relationship between good and bad in the context of women in the mafia in Mumbai. Based on the book - 'Mafia Queens of Mumbai' by S. Hussain Zaidi and Jane Borges, Dhir Baxi's collection looks into the complex relationship between these 'Mafia Queens' and the police/law.
