Miki Omori

Profile

Miki Omori is a fashion designer, born in Japan. She has worked as a Women's Ready-to-Wear Designer for leading fashion houses including Balenciaga under Nicolas Ghesquière, Lanvin under Alber Elbaz, and Nina Ricci under Peter Copping.

In 2015, Miki joined Coach in New York as Senior Design Director, Women’s RTW, under Stuart Vevers, leading Collection and Pre-Collection design teams.

After graduating in Apparel Design from Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo in 1995, Miki began her career in fashion education, teaching for five years before moving to Paris in 2000 to study Fashion Design at Studio Berçot. She has also lectured at Parsons School of Design and FIT in New York, as well as Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo.

Since 2021, Miki has been part of the Parsons Paris faculty. Her teaching approach is grounded in a deep understanding of creative research, three-dimensional exploration, and collection development. She guides students from initial concept and experimentation through to final realization.

Miki also maintains an ongoing connection with the luxury fashion industry through design consulting work.
