    Anitra Lourie

    Profile

    Anitra Lourie (PhD, Art, Aesthetics, and Science of Art, Sorbonne University) is a researcher whose work examines the appropriation of social media as an artistic medium, with a focus on how women artists subvert platform logics to construct critical and reflexive identities.

    She has taught philosophy of art at Sorbonne University Paris 1 Panthéon for the past five years and will teaches media history at Parsons Paris.

    Her writing has appeared in international journals such as Science du Design, PLASTIK, Design in Translation, and Sens Public, and she has contributed to exhibition catalogues for institutions including Carl Kostyál (London), OK Linz, and Perrotin (Paris).
