    Profile

    PhD, NYU; former Director of French Studies, Northeast Modern Language Association. Author of Marguerite Duras:Une expérience intérieure, several articles in Nouvelles Francographiies; Zen poems in Cahiers de l'Alba. Directed and contributed to   Maryse Condé, Rébellion et transgressions. Organized multicultural poetry readings and performances for NEMLA. Trained in Rinzai Zen practice and meditation.
