I began teaching in 2008 for the New School, and am I part-time assistant professor.  Prior to joining the New School, I was a practicing lawyer in New York City at Arnold & Porter LLP, a top-25 international law firm, where I specialized in corporate and securities litigation, regulatory work, national security and human rights issues.   My courses have introduced students to the fundamental concepts of space law & policy, public international law, international human rights law, and business law.  In my teaching, I draw on my experiences as an attorney and an advocate for human rights causes.  I believe in a contemporary education, which means that my courses are designed to provide you with the foundation to analyse modern day problems in a thorough manner, and give you the information you need to critically engage the most pressing issues of our time.  If you would like more information about any of my offerings, please do not hesitate to ask.
