Faculty

I've taught at the New School since 2001.  My degrees in American history, English, and law are from Harvard (A.B.), Georgetown (M.A.), The University of Virginia School of Law (J.D.), and Princeton (Ph.D.).  My specialties include Modern and contemporary English, Irish and American literature;  literature and law; F. Scott Fitzgerald; and contemporary American music.  My courses at The New School include classes on James Joyce, Samuel Beckett, 20thc American fiction, contemporary Anglophone drama, Henry James and Edith Wharton.    Currently, I have a book manuscript under publication review, and am working on a book about F.
